What is Consultant, Environment Projects?

This role is responsible to carry out various environment related programs in Jazz; particularly these pertain to Net Zero Emissions project, Recycling, E-Waste and others including projects that may come about due to the Circular Economy and reduction of plastic waste. It is a singular role, the incumbent must be self-managing and is expected to deliver world class excellence in Environmental initiatives.

The role reports directly to the HOD, HSSE & Business Continuity and has 0 people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 05 team members

What does Consultant, Environment Projects do?

• Manage all environmental programs, get them on track and properly organized.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with the HOD
• Support in community engagement when needed
• Run campaigns including comms to engage staff
• Keep updated presentations on progress
• Coordinate recycling efforts in the company
• Run efforts to reduce plastic waste in Jazz

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Environment Sciences and at least 3 years relevant experience.
• Strong communicator with the ability to present crisp and well-articulated thoughts at platforms of varying seniority and context.
• Self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions.
• Should be well organized and be able to manage the projects in time keeping the values intact.
• Should be proficient with MS Office.
