Who is Expert International A2P?

The International A2P Expert is a pivotal role focused on overseeing existing and onboarding new business as per assigned targets. Some key responsibilities include relationship management of international A2P SMS traffic with international A2P partners including bundles and masks additions. Timely campaign executions, contract negotiations, market analysis and extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What does Expert International A2P do?

• Ensure stable traffic management for international A2P resellers to achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Act as a point of contact for A2P resellers, managing queries, SMS allowances, registrations, and IDs daily.
• Liaise with potential A2P resellers, negotiate, and finalize rates as per the defined policy.
• Onboard new A2P resellers and ensure compliance with defined SOPs.
• Share relevant documentation of new resellers with the centralized activation team and seek feedback on accuracy and discrepancies with defined KPIs (if any).
• Keep track of international Over-The-Top (OTT) players' traffic and report any abnormalities.
• Analyse international trends in the A2P market and identify new trends.
• Conduct comprehensive competitors' analysis of both local and international operators.
• Liaise with Firewall vendors to ensure no leakage on the international A2P stream.
• Coordinate with the Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management (RAFM) team to ensure timely blocking of all accounts involved in grey traffic termination.
• Keep track of any alternate channels that can impact international A2P traffic.
• Ensure international A2P revenue is correctly booked.
• Communicate with A2P resellers monthly to ensure a smooth flow of recovery and an efficient collection process.
• Assist resellers in all billing and invoicing activities to ensure timely management of monthly revenue; undertake reconciliations and address anomalies accordingly.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert International A2P?

• Graduate from a reputable university, preferably with a degree in Business, Engineering, or Data Sciences.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant A2P experience in other CMOs or Service Providing companies.
• In-depth knowledge of A2P Business, both on a local and international scale.
• Understanding of the challenges and potential future developments in the A2P landscape.
• Familiarity with the supply chain of the A2P business, including customers, aggregators, and CMOs.
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework and its role in the A2P business.
• Proficiency in payments, recoveries, credit notes, and various tax types.
• Ability to manage relationships effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to dig deep into issues with critical and analytical thinking.
• Proven track record of solving critical issues in previous roles.
