What is Analyst Rating & Billing Assurance?

This position is part of 3 members team of Revenue Assurance which takes care of Re-rating Assurance controls of Jazz Voice, SMS and Data streams by using specialized tool(s). The Analyst Rating & Billing Assurance is responsible for definition of rating reference data (new rates and products or changes in existing rates) in the system for continuous monitoring and reporting. After definition of rates, verifies the applied charging on events in Prepaid and Postpaid EDRs and report any anomalies.

The role reports directly to Manager Business Readiness.

What does Analyst Rating & Billing Assurance do?

• Monitoring and escalation of under charging and overcharging events of Voice, Data and SMS.
• Identification of abnormal trends in subscriptions/ charges/ fee deductions.
• Data sourcing of ad-hoc reports, alerts development and ad hoc analysis.
• Product implementation in Revenue Assurance System.
• Coordination with stakeholders on products and services related matters.
• Testing of new and existing products.
• Corporate products re-rating controls.
• Products subscriptions rating.
• Preparation of monthly dashboards and reports for management.
• Coordination with Technology teams on data/ information related issues.
• Timely reporting and escalations of issues/ anomalies/ under charging issues.
• Ensure up-to-date rating tables in Revenue Assurance System with latest tariffs/ products catalogue.
• Coordination with commercial teams for new products and rate changes.
• Reference data maintenance for audit and analysis.
• Timely reporting and dashboard.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Analyst Rating & Billing Assurance?

• BBA/ MBA/ BCS with IT or Computer Services. Relevant experience would be a plus.
• Good knowledge of GSM Call flow.
• Detailed Knowledge of SQL, Vb.net scripts, MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, PL/SQL Developer.
• Good knowledge of Jazz Products is plus.
• Sound knowledge of report writing and root cause analysis.
• Practical knowledge of P/SQL development.
• Adaptive to the culture and dynamics of the team and department. Self-driven, motivated, goal oriented and team player.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
