What is Expert Telco Project Management?

Expert Telco Project Management will be responsible for the day-to-day product development and project management related activities at Jazz. This role is part of the Project Management team which is housed under Product Development & PMO vertical within marketing department. The team is mainly responsible for handling Projects belonging to various domains including Commercial, Sales, BIZ, Finance, Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital, Technology and Regulatory.

The role reports to Stream Head Projects with an existing team strength of 3 team members. 

What Expert Telco Project Management does?

•         Initiation, requirement gathering and planning along with all different departments for the development/enhancement of TECH DBSS systems and tools.

•         Raising change requirements in CRM & Enterprise systems to TECH and coordinate with stakeholders for implementation of changes.

•         Business Case review and Cost/Benefit analysis of various products/change requests.

•         Close liaison with business and technical stakeholders to ensure the Projects and Change Requests are developed and delivered on time.

•         Effectively managing conflicts in relevance to Project Management constraints of time, cost and quality

•         Conduct comprehensive UAT of newly developed/changed system functionalities, VAS services and products.

•         Development and maintenance of project plans, and establishment of priorities.

•         Responsible for End-to-End Implementation and launch of new projects and products

•         Complete Project reporting activities and progress review on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis.

•         Completion of deliverables and end of project evaluations to identify lessons learned

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Telco Project Management?

•         Knowledge of telecom Products (Prepaid, Postpaid, Digital financial services & Value-added services), Project management, BSS systems (CRM, IN and Postpaid Billing), Digital APPs and expertise in core telecom business processes

•         Business solution architect and converting business requirements into possible technical solutions ensuring cost saving and optimal timelines

•         Creating new ideas and Business Requirement Document for various Product development related requirements.

•         Effectively coordinating & communicating various organizational stakeholders for seamless product/project delivery.

•         Adding value to Project delivery by proposing alternative approaches to complex problems ensuring cost optimization.

•         Ability to lead large, medium, and small-scale projects.

•         Enthusiastic and thoughtful communicator and collaborator with the tech and non-tech teams.

•         Reporting Project management activities and reviewing progress of projects on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis and present to management for decision making.

•         Leading and conducting comprehensive UAT of newly developed/changed system functionalities, VAS services and products.

•         Someone with at least three to five years of strong Product development and Project management background.

•         The candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecoms or IT. Additional qualification in Project Management will be a bonus.
