What is Platform Delivery/FTTx?
Platform Delivery/FTTx deal with internal & external customers and provide technical consultancy and service delivery work as solution architects for legacy to cutting edge digital solutions and services comprising of but not limited to Cloud, Data Center, M2M, IOT, Fixed, 4G & FMC. Servicing multiple sales Channels.
The external customers may belong to Multinational, local large and small enterprises or SoHo. We engage them to understand their business requirements write customer story and translate these into high availability based secure operatable solution. Ensure delivery of these services and get endorsement from customer for the successful delivery of services.
Jazz B2B portfolio covers Cloud, Data Center, Security, long-haul & short-haul medium including last mile solutions covering layer-2 or Layer-3 IP & IPMPLS & IOT & M2M.
Platform Delivery / FTTx. team assist channels to meet their sales targets by providing them prompt and accurate technical solutions and deliver services to customer.
The role reports directly to the Stream Head Platforms / FTTx.
What does Manager Platform Delivery / FTTx?
o Work with regional Managers of sales channels to provide solution based on integration of off the shell products and services or design complete bespoke solutions.
o Manage team that is responsible to prepare high level design containing proposed network scenario including technical write up of solution being proposed offered by Jazz having all relevant costs involved & Bill of Quantities (BoQ) related to hardware & consumable items involved etc.
o Coordinate with Bid Teams for evaluation of Tenders / Bids and assist team to develop responses to customer requirements and compliance.
o Work closely with Technical Department to obtain updated information of current network infrastructure in order to utilize those in solutions designs.
o Motivate, coach and direct team development to ensure an efficient team capable of managing KPIs and internal & external customers and stake holders.
o Facilitate effective teamwork and encourage involvement and initiative, allowing individuals to maximize their potential and improve overall performance of the regional field force, team spirit, motivation and commitment. Encourage development of leadership competencies and business acumen by coaching and creating learning opportunities
o In addition to these responsibilities, the role also oversees Platform Delivery related to Data Centers, including:
o Coordination for Data Center infrastructure readiness (space, power, cooling, rack allocation)
o Ensuring solution deployment alignment with DC standards and best practices
o Collaboration with DC Operations and Infrastructure teams for smooth service delivery
o Supporting hosting, colocation, and cloud deployments within Data Centers
o Managing end-to-end service provisioning from design to implementation
o Ensuring SLA compliance, availability, and resiliency of deployed solutions
o Participate in fixed network planning and roll outs for Enterprise Customers.
Key Deliverables
o Manage KPIs to deliver technical proposal and costing within define time.
o Help in developing team on B2B Product portfolio.
o Collaborate with Technology team for fulfilment of requirements for high profile customer.
o Must have good communication and presentation skills, understand customer needs and help channels to translate them into revenue.
o Create good working environment with all stake holders internally and externally.
o Give feedback on RFPs and Bids; identify technicalities and understand requirement and give input for product development.
o Ensure Data Center readiness (power, space, cooling, rack allocation) for solution deployments
o Coordinate with DC Operations and Infrastructure teams for smooth implementation and service activation
o Oversee end-to-end delivery of hosting, colocation, and cloud solutions within Data Centers
o Ensure adherence to SLA, availability, and resiliency standards for all deployed services
o Support capacity planning and resource allocation for Data Center-based solutions
o Act as a bridge between Presales, Delivery, and DC Operations to ensure seamless execution

Requirements
· 8-10 years of experience in Solution Designing or management & configurations of Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Fortigate etc.
· We strongly aim at bringing on board a team member well-versed with the Fixed & Mobile networks, having strong knowledge of Cloud, IP networks & transmission networks, must have hands-on experience of minimum 5 years.
· Relevant certification of CCIE/CCNP, JNCIP, HCIE, Fortigate Certifications (NSE-4~7) etc. would be an added advantage
· Must have good presentation skills and Team management experience of 3 ~ 5 years.
· Has strong grip on MS Office Suit especially MS Power Point, Word, Excel & MS Visio etc.
· Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
· Ability to supervise, motivate and lead staff and 3rd parties to high professional standards
· Sound understanding of Telecom and specifically GSM / Enterprise Solutions market in terms of solution design as well
· Strong understanding of Data Center environments, including:
· Power, cooling, rack design, and capacity planning
· Hosting, colocation, and cloud infrastructure deployment
· Experience in coordinating with DC Operations and Infrastructure teams for service delivery
· Ability to ensure end-to-end solution implementation, from design to deployment within DC
· Familiarity with SLA management, availability, and resiliency standards in DC environments
· Capability to align Presales designs with practical delivery feasibility in DC
