What is a Product Specialist - Payments?

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. As a Product Specialist for payments, your role will center around the oversight and facilitation of projects within the online payment’s spectrum, crucial for our e-commerce operations. Working in payments team requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach to ensure a secure and smooth transaction experience for our online users.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payment systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of strategic projects.

What does a Specialist Product - Payments do?

• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payment gateway.
• Design, plan, and execute e-commerce campaigns to promote payment solutions.
• Analyze transaction data to detect patterns and trends, contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify areas for improvement in the e-commerce payment process and collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements.
• Work in tandem with marketing teams to devise and execute growth plans that capitalize on payment solutions to draw in new users.
• Conduct thorough testing of online payments integrations to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
• Work with Product leadership to plan and deliver value added features into the JazzCash Payment Gateway.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• At least 1-3 years of experience in payments domain, preferably in fintech or banking industry.
• Expertise in marketing, online strategies, user experience, and business development.
• Acquainted with current trends and emerging technologies within the fintech and payments industries.
• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving aptitude with a strong analytical mindset.
