What is Regional Head B2G?

The Regional Head B2G will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with public sector entities, government organizations, and other key stakeholders. This role will focus on creating new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that align with Jazz’s vision of digital transformation. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the ServiceCo landscape spanning from GSM, Data, Fixed connectivity, M2M/IoT and Quantica.

The role reports directly to the Head of B2G with an extended team of 6 members.

What does Regional Head B2G do?

·       Strategic Leadership

o   Develops and executes a robust regional sales strategy focused on driving revenue growth through government partnerships.

o   Identifies and prioritizes public sector opportunities, including tenders, projects, and strategic initiatives.

o   Builds and maintains a strong pipeline of B2G opportunities, ensuring sustained business growth.

·       Project Planning and Execution

o   Identifies government business within the assigned region and lead for evaluation and potential participation.

o   Participates in pre-bid meetings to gather project requirements, address queries, and collect essential inputs for proposal/bid development.

o   Leads project execution in alignment with predefined milestones and requirements set.

o   Provides regular progress updates, escalates issues when needed, and ensures timely resolution with adherence to quality standards.

·       Portfolio Management

o   Ensures achievement portfolio goals as defined by the management.

o   Drives revenue by securing high-value contracts, identifying new income streams, and aligning solutions with the evolving needs of the public sector.

o   Addresses escalated client issues through regular visits, incorporating feedback to enhance service delivery.

o   Monitors market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with product and marketing teams to guide innovation and new offerings.

o   Oversees team performance to ensure productivity targets are met and client portfolios are effectively managed.

o   Develops persuasive proposals, business cases, and presentations tailored to government stakeholders.

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration

o   Work closely with Product, Service Delivery and CRA teams to align offerings with market demands.

o   Ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements and deliverables.

o   Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.

·       Compliance & Governance

o   Ensure all partnerships and contracts comply with legal, regulatory requirements and company policies.

o   Ensure management of accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client interactions.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Regional Head B2G?

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or ICT field. An MBA with ICT knowledge is preferred.

·        Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnership management, with a focus on the public sector.

·        Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.

·        Strong understanding of the public sector landscape in Pakistan, including government procurement processes and regulations.

·        Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

·        Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.

·        Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
