What is Expert Fixed Wireless Services?
The role reports directly to the Regional Manager FNO North and has 4 to 5 outsourced people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 20 team members.
What does Expert Fixed Wireless Services do?
- Progress reporting to measure SLA & KPI for effective services & better customer experience.
- Data analysis to report performance growth and identification of areas for improvement.
- Conversion of data into professional presentation for better visibility.
- Governance of outsourced operations, supervision, design & implementation of Jazz Fixed Wireless products.
- Corporate Order fulfillment, Provisioning/Upgrade/Termination of fixed wireless links on sectorial basis.
- Wireless Fixed links troubleshooting for complex cases & root cause analysis. Visit of customer & network sites for installations, support, network health & quality check.
- Scheduled and spontaneous Network Audits in North Region i.e. RAN Parameters, Quality & Network Performance.
- Scheduling & supervision of Preventive & Corrective maintenance of fixed wireless sites.
- Link budgeting, parametric audit in Wireless domain to identify and remove inconsistencies for smooth operation and ensure QOS.
- Supervision of field team for Base Station deployments which includes work/traffic flows, monitoring, optimization, fault identification, alarm removal, subscriptions and capacity loading.
- Monitoring & ensuring agreed SLAs of fixed wireless network in term of regional deployment & Support.
- Working on RMA process with all stakeholders.
- Registration of ISM band links & data sharing with regulatory team as per PTA requirement.
- Periodic & efficient SCM for Wireless domain, procurement planning, preparation of RFQs and verifying material with optimum stock levels.

Requirements
Experience and Educational requirements:
- Bachelors degree in sciences preferably in Computer/Electronics/Telecom.
- Ability to govern/manage wireless field operations team, manage material supplies & inventories for order deliveries, devised procurement plans, prepare reports/presentations.
- Prior 2 to 3 years’ experience of towers/civil works rollout/quality inspection in a Telecommunication/ Wireless Data Service provider will be an added advantage.
- The individual should have sound knowledge of data communication/fixed wireless technologies and must have analytical/problem solving skills and expertise in various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Mapping software; these skills are key to meet the performance expectations for this role.

- Experience of conducting Line of Sight (LOS) surveys, preparing Survey reports and performing Link budgets.
- Experience of Installing, Configuring, and Optimizing of fixed wireless links (PTP/PTMP).
- Experience of identifying, resolving and troubleshooting service problems and perform root cause analysis.
