What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
. Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn about Jazz’s core values, business, and products
. Develop understanding of your division, function, its structure, and your role within the team.
. Meet key internal stakeholders such as the FLT and the various business divisions such as Digital, Brands, Jazz Cash, Business Services, People & Organization, Compliance and Business Analytics.
. Understand the logistics of running our internal (Workplace by Facebook, Newsflash) and external (DigitalPakistan.pk, LinkedIn) communications platforms.
. Align expectations and business objectives with immediate line manager.
Within 60 days, you will:
. Establish collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders.
. Review and plan digital campaigns around the annual corporate calendar and key messages for the organization.
. Align the digital media plan with the Thought Leadership agenda in line with Jazz’s digital ambitions and desire to be an employer of choice and digital thought leader.
. Work closely with the content agency with, guidelines and expectations to develop content across media and sustainability programmes under the Jazz Foundation.
. Support in the development of the internal communication strategy and ensure alignment and execution in line with the strategic guidance from the management to increase Jazz’s digital presence internally and externally.
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders including media personnel and vendors, to ensure Jazz establishes itself as a digital thought leader in Pakistan.
Single handedly manage and execute strategy to increase engagement on both internal communications platforms (e.g. Workplace by Facebook) and external communications platforms (e.g. www.digitalpakistan.pk
. Push out content to ensure Jazz continues to remain a Digital Thought Leader; i.e. develop corporate communications collateral such as articles, presentations, talking points, and documents for CXOs.
. Present Digital monitoring and analytics to the ELT on a monthly basis for an integrated digital strategy on improvement in impressions and user engagement.
. Research and monitor successful best practices in digital communication in the regional/global telecom markets and evaluate them for local implementation.
A Bit About You:
We are looking for someone who has delivered on challenging projects and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to roll out within the communications domain. Prior experience of running digital campaigns, content development and strategic communications across several industries will be an added advantage.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communications skills – both written and verbal. The individual should be a team player with sound stakeholder engagement, time management, and project management skills. Research, content writing, ability to work in tight timelines and development are essential skills required to meet the performance expectations for this role.
A Bit About Us:
The Corporate Communications and Sustainability Department within the Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Division is primarily responsible for all internal communications, external communications and sustainability work carried out at Jazz. We’re actively working on Jazz’s image as the leading digital communications company.
The structure of the team you will join is:
. A 07 member team (including the department head) with 04 sub teams
. You will be part of a 02 member sub-team reporting to a Head of Digital Communications – Internal and External
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
. Ensure Jazz is a Digital Thought Leader and leads the digital road map for Pakistan.
. Provide support to internal teams for achieving Organizational Objectives.
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
. Jazz’s contribution during the COVID pandemic – Internal comms, external comms, sustainability, and social media.
. Proliferated Jazz’s Digital Thought Leadership visibility.
The five (05) must have past experiences the candidate should have.
. A degree in communications, media, or relevant field
. The ability to self-tech new technologies especially video editing, graphics editing and social media management such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube advertising
. A deep understanding of world-class communication practices
. Experience publishing news in Tier-1 blogs
. Knowledge on researching latest industry trends
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.
. The ability to create visually compelling PowerPoints and artwork.
. Understanding and deciphering digital analytics and insights.
Essential skills must have:

. An understanding of internal communications and media to create messaging for maximum impact
