This is a full-time position based in Islamabad but reporting to the Ventures Group Director Growth and Partnerships in London. Veon is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with content preparation, communications, synthesizing data and project managing cross-functional work for our Ventures leadership team. This person will manage preparation for internal/external events and meetings, assist with internal communications, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the company, including managing the top priorities for the Ventures executive team.
What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn about Jazz’s core values, business, and products
Meet the relevant stakeholders concerning your team
Develop understanding of your domain, function, its structure, and your role within the team.
Develop a clear plan of action for each of the key project and ongoing initiatives. Familiarise yourself with VEON Ventures priorities and key stakeholders involved. Get to know all relevant stakeholders and establish working relationship.
-Within 60 days, you will:
Engage actively on all assigned key priorities including define / review plans and ensure timely execution and delivery of key projects.
Recommend way to improve approach and structure of projects in consultation with key stakeholders

- Within 90 days to onwards you will:
.         Work with Veon colleagues to prepare background for meetings with key partners (e.g., identify goals, prepare slides/background material/pre-reads, draft talking points when necessary, provide background on attendees when appropriate)
.         Prepare briefing material for external events
.         Synthesize background material into executive summaries with key business and communication insights
.         Stay up-to-date with trends in business, technology, and digital including knowledge of current/potential Veon stakeholders
.         Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional groups
.         Build presentations for internal presentations (e.g. team all-hands, board presentation, etc.)
.         Maintain documentation to support internal coordination
.         Accelerate work on emergent priorities as necessary (incl. but not limited to project management / PMO of key initiatives, coordination of cross-functional projects)
.         Suggest and lead initiatives to organize business projects and priorities (e.g. creating repository of existing / potential partners, tracking of key projects and partner discussions, development of reporting mechanisms and templates, etc.)
A Bit About You:
We are looking for someone who has 5- 6 years of experience in total with 3+ years’ work experience in management consulting or private equity.  The right incumbent will have experience leading cross-functional projects, managing c-suite level stakeholders, building presentations in PowerPoint, modelling in excel and compile briefing materials and juggling tasks and work extra hours as needed.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to exercise absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times. The individual should have sound analytical and organisation skills; these skills are key to meet the performance expectations for this role.
