What is Expert Business Analysis – Marketplace (mCommerce)?

Expert Business Analysis will be a “Growth Hacker” within the Marketplace Segment, working closely on the mCommerce product. You will drive the future of mCommerce platform and will grow the product to meet business KPIs. Manage the targets and ambitions from a growth perspective and run joint campaigns with partner. Responsible to achieve month-on-month growth for mCommerce, liaise with partner and manage campaigns, budgets and media channels. Also be responsible to provide analytics and insights into the customer behavior – incorporate them into growth strategy and create sustainable plans. Moreover, he/she will manage day-to-day operational issues and ensure the highest service quality for mCommerce proposition. This resource will be tracking customer satisfaction KPIs i.e. delivery timelines, dispute timelines, product issues, quality assurance etc.

The role reports directly to the Stream Head Product & Marketplace in 6-member team with an extended team of 23 team members.

What does Expert Business Analysis – Marketplace (mCommerce) do?

• Track daily, weekly, monthly & yearly customer acquisition/engagement/revenue targets
• Track GMV and design strategies to grow
• Contribute positively with customer insights, industry trends, market research and global best practices
• Create business models around future sustainability and growth plans
• Understand and improve the performance metrics and reporting
• Manage data gathering from BI team and internal platform for daily dashboard and any ad hoc analysis
• Contribute in strategy and expansion plans
• Conducting user research to develop and design relevant products and initiate product improvements
• Optimization of customer funnels and success rates
• Design and execute marketing campaigns
• Track the campaigns, KPIs and do post-campaign analysis
• Identify potential areas of improvement and innovative strategies for customer acquisition and engagement
• Responsible for PnL of mCommerce
• Manage day-to-day operational issues and ensure the highest service quality for mCommerce proposition
• Track customer satisfaction KPIs i.e. delivery timelines, dispute timelines, product issues, quality assurance etc.
• Coordinate with partner to ensure SLAs/SOPs are followed and also suggest improvement in processes
• Ensure we provide the best service to the customer for our ambitions to be the most trusted mCommerce player in the market
• Identify or raise any issues with customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for process improvement and addressing customer complaints
• Monitor customer complaints and issues – resolve them in a timely manner
• Penetrate new areas with innovative solutions/products to cater market needs
• Make business cases and business decisions
• Coordinate with category managers and other stakeholders for successful execution of strategy

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Business Analysis – Marketplace (mCommerce)?

• Bachelors in relevant discipline
• At least 2-3 years’ work experience in growth, strategy and marketing for a consumer-facing e-commerce platform
• Should be comfortable working on tight deadlines, with multiple internal and external stakeholders, multi-tasking and financial targets
• Proven track record of success in growing and managing e-commerce/online shopping platforms
• Someone who is always looking for innovative products & services, and strive to continuously improve customer experience. Curious about global best practices and have a proven record of managing growth, analytics and operations
• Past experience or shown expertise in:
• Other essential skills:
• Self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders influencing strategic priorities
• Creative problem solver who goes beyond the obvious to find unconventional ways enabling business and people

o Digital marketing for e-commerce

o Reporting & Analytics

o Digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads manager, Firebase, Mixpanel and Appsflyer

o Tools for advance analytics and dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy etc.) is not mandatory but would be a big plus

o Knowledge of SQL, languages and databases is not mandatory but would be a big plus
