What is Manager Growth - Acceptance Business?
Manager Growth (acceptance business) leads a team who is responsible for acquiring, retaining and engaging acceptance merchants to drive uptake of digital acceptance.
The role reports to Steam Head – SME Growth and has 2 people reporting directly into it with an extended team of 18 members.
What does is Manager Growth - Acceptance Business do?
- Develop strategic acquisition and retention plans to drive growth
- Identify key hotspots and work with onboarding teams to establish a strong merchant network
- Work on category planning and implement strategies to target focus categories and tiers
- Lead merchants / consumer campaigns from conception to defining objectives, execution, tracking, and reporting
- Develop and launch targeted campaigns for different merchant segments
- Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives are driving desired results
- Understand our customers and use those insights to drive growth of acceptance business through marketing campaigns
- Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to reach merchants and consumers
- Conduct market research to understand the needs of the merchants and recommend new products and improvements in existing products
- Define opportunities of enhancing merchant experience through new products, improvements in existing products and processes
- Improve visibility at merchant locations through merchandising to improve customer and site experience
- Lead GTM strategies for upcoming products
What are we looking for and what does it take to be is Manager Growth - Acceptance Business?
- 7+ years’ work experience in the field of Digital financial services / FMCGs with understanding of retail business or digital payments
- Proven track record of managing teams and driving product growth
- Self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out meaningful analysis and insights
- Sound stakeholder manager able to build strong credible partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communicator with the ability to manage internal and external communications
