What is Expert Wireless Services?
We are seeking an Expert Wireless Services professional to manage Wireless Services within the Fixed Network Operations (FNO) North Region. This role demands a strong understanding of wireless technologies and related products, including new order fulfillment, support cycles, and supply chain management, ensuring effective deployment and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will also be well versed in designed frameworks and market dynamics. This position requires governess of outsourced operations and close coordination with cross functional teams to successfully delivery of commercially forecasted wireless links and maintain a seamless support cycle for revenue growth & retention.
What does Expert Wireless Services do?
- This role reports directly to the Regional Manager, FNO North, and has 4 to 5 outsourced team members as direct reports, with an extended team comprising approximately 20 to 25 members.
- Responsible for progress reporting to track SLAs and KPIs, driving service efficiency and improved customer experience.
- Perform data analysis to track performance trends and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
- Convert complex data into clear, professional presentations to improve visibility and decision-making for internal stakeholders.
- Oversee governance of outsourced operations, including the supervision, design, and implementation of Jazz Fixed Wireless products.
- Oversee corporate order fulfillment and execute provisioning, upgrades, and termination of fixed wireless links in alignment with default network design & standards.
- Troubleshot complex wireless fixed link issues through detailed root cause analysis. Conducted customer and network site visits for installations, technical support, and assessments of network health and quality.
- Performed scheduled network audits in the North Region, assessing RAN parameters, service quality, and overall network performance.
- Planned and supervised preventive and corrective maintenance activities for fixed wireless sites to ensure operational reliability.
- Performed link budgeting and parametric audits within the wireless domain to identify and resolve inconsistencies, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining QoS.
- Supervised field teams during base station deployments, overseeing workflow, traffic monitoring, optimization, fault detection, alarm resolution, subscription management, and capacity loading.
- Monitored and ensured compliance with agreed SLAs for the fixed wireless network in terms of regional deployment and support.
- Collaborated with stakeholders to manage the RMA process efficiently.
- Handled registration of ISM band links and coordinated data sharing with the regulatory team to meet PTA requirements.
- Managed periodic and efficient supply chain activities in the wireless domain, including procurement planning, RFQ preparation, and material verification to maintain optimal stock levels.

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Wireless Services?
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in telecommunication field operations, ideally involving tower/civil works rollout, site quality inspections, and wireless network deployment & Support.
- Experience in governing and managing field operations teams, material supply chains, inventory planning, and order delivery processes.
- Strong teamwork orientation with a collaborative and proactive attitude.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and independently, including to remote areas across Pakistan.
- Hands-on experience in conducting Line of Sight (LOS) surveys, preparing detailed survey reports, and performing link budgeting.
- Expertise in installing, configuring, and optimizing fixed wireless links (both Point-to-Point & Point-to-Multipoint
- Skilled in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving service issues, including performing in-depth root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with RMA processes, PTA regulatory compliance, and ISM band link registration.
