Compliance Specialist (Grade: L1)
Compliance Department, Islamabad
Job Description (total positions: 2, posted on: Apr 20, 2017)

  • Managing meetings for and with functional heads including assurance functions.

  • Managing day-to-day operation, training sessions and travel arrangements for compliance team.

  • Roll-out and implementation of compliance policies at Compliance SharePoint.

  • Disseminating clear and concise compliance communications and messages etc.

  • Monitoring and related activities on a continuing basis and provide timely reports to Compliance Officer/Manager.

  • Remediation measures and corrective action.

  • Preparation of reports and presentations.

  • Developing compliance communications.

  • Conducting compliance sessions/workshops with attendance and feedback forms.

  • Maintain case details in excel sheets and regularly monitor Speak Up helpline.

  • Manage meetings with primary investigators, function heads and vendors (as required).

  • Preparation of report for REAC

  • Follow up with concerned functions to ensure consistently applied disciplinary actions.

  • Maintain complete data base (excel) of all third party ratings, rejected, suspended or terminated as a result of red flags.

  • Conduct site visits and interviews with vendors

  • Training sessions for employees involved in vendor management processes.

  • Support compliance officer/manager during compliance integration, remediation efforts and monitoring activities.

  • Periodic compliance monitoring and maintain gifts and hospitality, social investments, sponsorship and Conflict of Interest registers.

  • Cash transaction reports, suspicious transactions reports and denied parties lists and for timely preparing status report.

Essential Skills:

  • Willingness to travel (40-50%) with analytical mind, good communication and presentation skills, self-motivated, detail oriented and able to multi-task.

  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills in English
